FIRAPASIÓN of Esparreguera

The 7th edition of FIRAPASSIÓ! will take place in Esparreguera on March 7th and 8th.

The event will follow the same format as in recent years and will include a trade fair area. This fair will be located in the streets of Arbres, Plaça de la Pagesia, Taquígraf Garriga, Plaça de Santa Eulàlia, Carrer Gran, Plaça del Ayuntamiento, Plaça del Hospital, and Plaça de la Constitució. In these areas, visitors can enjoy various stalls featuring local artisans, craftspeople, and businesses.

The fair will also feature traveling performances by the actors and actresses of La Passió. Among the highlights are El Cuadro de la Quitxalla, El Camino de la Amargura, and La Fiesta de la Luz. Other events include the Armats de Manresa parade, the presentation of the book Pequeña Historia de La Pasión de Esparreguera by Pilarín Bayés, a performance by Jarabe de Caña, and the Barraka Alternativa program, which includes the popular Crucificadas World Race, among other activities.

The fair is organized by La Pasión de Esparreguera, the Catalan Federation of Passion Plays, and the Esparreguera Town Council. This collaboration ensures a rich and varied experience for all attendees, with a focus on local culture and traditions.
