Departure of the December Romanesque in La Baronia de Rialb

Don't miss this year's December Romanesque Outing in the Barony of Rialb!

We invite you to the guided tour to discover the heritage of the municipality:

• At 9:30 a.m. Meeting point at the Monastery of Santa Maria de Gualter. Introduction to the Romanesque of La Baronia de Rialb and details of the activity.
• At 10:30 a.m. We will go up the road towards Tremp until we reach the church of Sant Serni de Bellfort. This church was given to the order of the Hospitallers.
• At 11:00 a.m. We will exit in the direction of the church of Sant Pere del Solé. A particular 11th century church linked from its beginnings to the current family that owns it.
• At 11:30 a.m. We will continue until we reach Sant Esteve de Pallerols. A quite interesting complex in which the old Romanesque church, with its first records from the 10th century, was readapted by a neoclassical construction. In this place there are some vestiges of the Pallerols castle and the road that leads to Andorra begins.
• At 12:42 p.m. We will leave in the direction of the center of Vilaplana and visit the church of Sant Miquel.
