European Heritage Days in Caldes de Malavella
Caldes de Malavella hosts the European Heritage Days!
The days will begin with a conference by the historian Pau Turon, entitled "Sant Esteve de Caulers: life in a Gironina parish during the mitjana period". The event will take place at the Sant Grau hermitage, at seven in the afternoon.
Sunday, October 13, will be the day with the most activities scheduled. Throughout the morning, you can visit the Espai Aquae, a museum space dedicated to the cultural heritage of Caldes de Malavella. At 10 am, there will be a guided tour of Malavella Castle and the hermitage of Sant Maurici, led by archaeologist Joan Llinàs, from the company Atri. At 11 am, the "Sources and Heritage" route will take place, a guided tour that will leave from the Tourist Office and visit several points of interest in the municipality.
Since 1991, the Catalan Agency for Cultural Heritage has promoted the European Heritage Days.
