European Heritage Days in Ascó

Ascó celebrates the European Heritage Days once again this year!

In Ascó, the main attraction will be a guided tour of the municipality's restored heritage sites, a journey that will allow you to discover emblematic buildings that are part of the town's history and architectural evolution. During the tour, participants will discover Cal Cavaller, included in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia; Almacén de Rita, a unique building that has preserved elements from an old 16th-century cabin to 19th-century wine and oil containers; and finally, the Station Building (1892), currently the headquarters of the Ascó Tourist Office.

The free visit will take place on October 12, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., departing from Station Square.

For another year, the Catalan Agency for Cultural Heritage is promoting the European Heritage Days (EHD), an initiative of the Council of Europe and the European Commission that has been held continuously in Catalonia since 1991 and is considered the most important participatory activity in Europe related to cultural heritage.

The European Heritage Days are an event open to everyone and a great opportunity to rediscover our cultural heritage, with the main objective of strengthening the ties between it and society.
