European Archeology Conference in Calafell
Open day at the Iberian Citadel of Calafell on the occasion of the celebration of the European Archeology Days!
Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can access the site up to 30 minutes before closing.
The European Archeology Days are directed by the French National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research (INRAP). Whether you are passionate about history or simply curious, with your family or class, come and discover behind the scenes of heritage and archaeological research.
In these days, all the actors related to archeology are mobilized so that the public discovers the treasures of the heritage and the secrets of the discipline. Thus, excavation operators, research organizations, universities, museums and archaeological sites, laboratories, associations, archive centers and territorial entities are invited to organize innovative, original and interactive activities for the general public.
