The Engrescada in Vila-seca

To warm up for the San Antonio Festival, the bearers of the winged horse, the Tocats de la-la band, the Giants of Vila-seca and Sosciathlon have prepared the Engrescada for a good time of merriment and music!

The Engrescada is a festive day full of traditional and cultural activities in the historic centre. The festival begins with a parade, where the Alat Horse of Vila-seca, the Giants and the Charanga accompany the participants on a lively tour through the streets of the town. During the route, the traditional singing of the verses of invocation to Sant Antoni takes place, accompanied by popular music.

The highlight of the celebration is the Ball of Honour in Sant Antoni, where the Cavall Alat and the Giants perform a special dance. The day continues with a parade through the most emblematic streets and ends with the final dances and a festive gathering. To close, there is a lively Vermouth where funds are collected for charitable causes.
