Embarrat - Festival of Contemporary Creation in Tàrrega
Embarrat, the Contemporary Creation Festival in Tàrrega, is back!
For a few days, the Embarrat transforms the daily life of the modernist warehouses of the old J. Trepat factory in Tàrrega, turning them into an innovative space for avant-garde art.
The festival, interdisciplinary and transversal, brings together the most current trends in the world of art and international contemporary creation, while giving visibility and impetus to the work of new emerging authors, who use the experimentation of new languages as a means of expression.
During the festival, you can also enjoy a complete program of performances, musical performances, theatrical premieres...
El Embarrado was created in 2014 by Jesús Vilamajó and Natàlia Lloreta; and, since then, it has had the collaboration of the Tàrrega City Council and the Trepat Museum, as well as the Ilerdenses Studies Institute of the Lleida Provincial Council; the Generalitat of Catalonia and the La Panera Art Center in Lleida.
