Holy Week in Creixell
Creixell celebrates Easter for another year!
As is tradition, the first Procession will be that of the Via Crucis that will leave the church of Sant Jaume and will go to the Ermita de Fátima, which will be on Good Friday at 7:30 in the morning. On Saturday there will be the Pascual Vigil and on Easter Sunday there will be Mass at 1:00 p.m.
Holy Week is one of the most important celebrations of the Christian calendar and, in Catalonia, it is lived with great devotion and tradition. This week, which culminates with Easter Monday, is full of ceremonies and religious acts that commemorate the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
