International Museum Day at the Ripoll Ethnographic Museum

The Ripoll Ethnographic Museum is once again joining the celebration of International Museum Day and Museum Night with a special program under the theme "Museums uniting a divided world." The initiative highlights the role of museums as spaces for encounter, reflection, and cultural connection, offering activities open to the public throughout the weekend.

Among the highlights are the open days at the Ethnographic Museum and the Farga Palau, a perfect opportunity to discover Ripoll's historical and industrial heritage free of charge. This initiative brings local history and traditions closer to both regular visitors and new audiences interested in cultural heritage.

The program also includes guided activities and unique experiences, such as a route drawn by Ripoll that combines heritage and creativity, or a visit to the air-raid shelter, which invites you to delve deeper into episodes of the municipality's historical memory.

Museum Night becomes one of the central moments of the celebration with a special guided tour entitled "10 objects, 1 look", a proposal that invites to reinterpret museum pieces from a closer and more reflective perspective.
