Enter the European Heritage Days of Catalonia!
One more year, the Catalan Cultural Heritage Agency promotes the European Heritage Days (JEP), a joint initiative of the Council of Europe and the European Commission that has been carried out uninterruptedly in Catalonia since 1991.
This activity is recognized as the main participatory manifestation in Europe in relation to cultural heritage. Throughout all these years, the European Heritage Days have been an opportunity to discover the richness and diversity of cultural heritage, thanks to the collaboration of numerous municipalities, museums, monuments, associations and cultural entities throughout the territory, which year After year they have opened the doors of their towns to bring their cultural heritage closer to the citizens.
We encourage you to participate in these Days of discovery of our cultural heritage, which offers a wide variety of activities and new experiences. These proposals, which range from guided tours and open houses to concerts and family activities and workshops, among others, can be consulted online, organized according to themes and geographical locations.
The European Heritage Days are an event open to everyone and an exceptional opportunity to rediscover our cultural heritage, with the main objective of strengthening the links between it and society.
These sessions have the collaboration of the Federation of Municipalities of Catalonia, the Catalan Association of Municipalities, the Ramon Muntaner Institute, the Association of Microtowns of Catalonia and the Capital Association of Catalan Culture.
