Festival of Sant Gil in the Vall de Núria
Enjoy the big day of Núria, the festival of the shepherds! A traditional day that commemorates the stay of this saint in the valley.
As every year, on September 1 comes the festival of San Gil, a very important celebration in the Vall de Núria calendar, since it is the patron saint of shepherds, particularly those of the Eastern Pyrenees due to its location and history.
The day of San Gil begins with a good breakfast of shepherds, dance of sardanas, sheep selection, commemorative mass, procession to San Gil, and the demonstration of shepherd dogs.
You cannot miss this event in the Núria Valley, in Queralbs. We will wait for you!
