Perros d'Atura Contest and the Sheep Fair in Llavorsí
Every Sunday of the third weekend of August, the best Catalan dogs (d'Atura) meet in the Coma meadow ( Llavorsí ) and promote their participation outside of Catalonia, making the shepherd the protagonist, making the dog's activity and instinct known.
It is also a unique opportunity to discover the town of Llavorsí, surrounded by three valleys; the Àneu Valley, the Cardós Valley and the Ferrera Valley.
The town preserves its Pyrenean air in the restoration of the old houses and the new constructions that have always followed the criteria of the rest of its complex. The streets are narrow, cobbled and with steep slopes, creating an ideal environment for taking walks.
