Atura Dog Competition and Pirineu Pastor Festival in Llavorsí
Every Sunday of the third weekend of August, the best Catalan dogs (d'Atura) meet in the meadow of La Coma (Llavorsí) and promote their participation outside Catalonia, making the shepherd the protagonist, showing the activity and instinct of the dog.
It is also a unique opportunity to discover the town of Llavorsí, surrounded by three valleys; the Vall d'Àneu, the Vall de Cardós and the Vall Ferrera.
The village retains its Pyrenean feel through the restoration of the old houses and the new constructions, which have always followed the same style as the rest of the village. The streets are narrow, cobbled, and steep, creating an ideal environment for strolling.
Don't miss it!
