Cultural Encounter at the Monastery of Santa Maria de Gualter

The Cultural Meeting is being held once again at the Monastery of Santa María de Gualter in La Baronia de Rialb!

The program will combine cultural, religious, and festive activities, with offerings aimed at residents and visitors. The day will begin with a guided tour of the monastery's grounds, an opportunity to discover the history, architecture, and most emblematic corners of this heritage site.

In the afternoon, the public can visit various artistic and cultural exhibitions. There will be displays of paintings, antique clothing, and exhibits related to Japanese art and poetry, creating a diverse program that will allow visitors to discover creators and collections with different sensibilities.

The most solemn part will come with the mass, accompanied by gospel music. Afterwards, the same group will give a concert as part of the Itinera Festival, bringing music to the smallest villages and reinforcing the role of culture as a tool for revitalizing the region.

Literature will also have its place with the presentation of a book linked to the country's popular history and memory. The day will conclude with a traditional habanera singing, accompanied by rum, which will lend a festive and summery atmosphere to the gathering.

Drinks and snacks will be available throughout the celebration. It's an opportunity to enjoy heritage, share culture, and experience a day filled with tradition, music, and community in the heart of Gualter.
