Sant Feliu Sasserra celebrates one more year the traditional Corpus Christi, with 'l'ou com balla' in the fountain in the church square!
The Corpus Christi festival has been one of the most important in Europe for seven centuries. The festival was instituted by the Church around the year 1246 and, beyond being a religious festival, the celebration of Corpus Christi was from its very medieval origins, and is still in many places, a city festival.
Corpus Christi marks the high point of spring and brings out all the festive potential in Catalonia.
