Corpus rugs in La Roca del Vallès

La Roca del Vallès is ready to host a new edition of the Corpus Carpets, a celebration full of color, tradition and community participation that will once again fill the main street and the church square with ephemeral art and village spirit.

From early morning, anyone who wants to can collaborate in making the carpets, an open and participatory activity that invites neighbors, entities and families to join a tradition that transforms the streets into a great mosaic of shapes, flowers and colors.

The Corpus Christi carpets are much more than a decorative display: they are an expression of community, of shared work, and of affection for the town. Every detail, every flower, and every stroke is part of a collective creation that only makes sense thanks to the involvement of the people.

In the afternoon, the celebration will continue with mass at the church of Sant Sadurní and, afterwards, the traditional Corpus procession, which will travel through the area adorned with the carpets made during the day.

The activity is organized by the Residents' Association of Calle Mayor, with the collaboration of AFA Escola Mogent, the Rociera Association La Roca del Vallés and the City Council of La Roca del Vallés.
