The Corpus Christi festival celebration returns to Els Hostalets de Pierola!

Over the weekend, the municipality invites residents and visitors to participate in one of the most beautiful and shared traditions of the festive calendar: the creation of the flower carpet. The celebration will begin with the preparation of the flower, an activity open to everyone. Participants are asked to bring scissors and a willingness to help. It will be a time for gathering, conversation, and teamwork to begin shaping this tradition.

The following day, from the early hours, the most special moment will arrive: the creation of the carpet, a collective effort that will transform the public space into a work of art full of detail, symbolism, and beauty. Once finished, the carpet will be displayed for everyone to admire and enjoy before the final events.

The celebration will culminate with the religious ceremony in front of the church and the traditional stepping on the carpet, a moment full of meaning that puts an end to an ephemeral creation made with effort, dedication and appreciation by the people.

The day will also feature the Pau de Foc and the Gegants de Sant Boi, who will bring even more life and popular culture to the festival.
