Popular Chestnut Festival dinner in Avià

Come and experience this Chestnut Festival in Avià, with various activities for all ages!

The Colla Gegantera y Grallera de Aviñón organizes the traditional Castañada Popular Dinner, which will take place in the Sala Grande of the Ateneo, starting at 9pm.

The evening promises a warm and festive atmosphere to celebrate one of autumn's most iconic nights, combining gastronomy, tradition, and good cheer. Dinner will include a set menu with a starter, bread with sausage or bacon, a drink (water and/or wine), and, of course, the traditional dessert of panellets and sweet potatoes.

The event will also feature a bar and a festive atmosphere, perfect for sharing with friends and family. The price of dinner is €15, and includes a free drink for children's tickets.

Tickets can be purchased until October 25th at Bar Ateneu, and groups wishing to reserve a table can do so by writing to [email protected].

The activity has the support of the Avià City Council and the collaboration of various local entities, keeping alive a tradition that brings together neighbors and visitors around the embers, chestnuts and good company.
