Cherry Fair in Torrelles de Llobregat
On the first weekend of June, Torrelles de Llobregat will dress up to celebrate its most emblematic festival: the Cirera Festival.
This year, the celebration will reach its forty-third edition, with the goal of exceeding 5,000 visitors and 3,000 kilos of cherries sold last year.
Throughout the weekend, they will be organized:
- Activities, workshops and shows for all audiences.
- Stalls selling cherries and local products.
- An exhibition of arts and crafts.
- A shanty area.
- A new gastronomic route with Torrellense cherries as the star.
This year the 3rd Cherry Festival Plastic and Visual Arts Contest is also held, which expands the traditional exhibition of cherries to other artistic techniques such as:
- Paint
- Sculpture
- Photography
In addition, a badge will be awarded to the best Torrelles cherry.
