Cubelles Carnival
The craziest and liveliest days of the year have arrived with the Cubelles Carnival!
The parade, the central event of the Cubelles Carnival, brings together hundreds of people both from the same municipality and from outside who parade with their costumes through the streets of the center to the Plaza del Mercat.
The children will also be the protagonists again with their costume parade and floats.
In Catalonia, the highlight of the Carnival festival begins with the arrival of Lardero Thursday and the Carnival king, and ends on Ash Wednesday, the day of the burial of the sardine, just before the Lent period begins, which Traditionally it was accompanied by fasting and penance.
