Pellofa's reign is reinstated, king of debauchery and absurdity in the city of Mataró!

The character of Pellofa is conceived with an ironic, satirical, and critical view of contemporary society, while remaining accessible and relatable to the participants of the Mataró Carnival. This festival is one of the most anticipated of the year, where the community comes together to enjoy days filled with color, music, and fun.

Carnival will arrive in the city and head straight to the grand parade, one of the highlights of the celebration. Pellofa will participate in this parade with his troupe, which always surprises with its costumes and choreography. Once the parade is over, he will deliver his traditional opening speech in Parc Central, a moment when the winners of the various competitions are announced and prizes are awarded to the winning troupes. The event is a reflection of the creativity and effort of the participants, who work for months to bring their ideas to life.

In addition, during the children's dance, Pellofa will once again deliver his opening speech, adapted for the youngest attendees, so that all children can enjoy the magic of Carnival. This event is an excellent opportunity for families to share special moments and create unforgettable memories.
