Carnival in La Llacuna

La Llacuna celebrates one more year the Carnival organized by youth with the collaboration of the City Council!

The party will begin with the traditional Rúa de Carnaval and   The participation of King Carnestoltes, the king of the "pocasoltes", cannot be missed. Every year, while the townspeople dress up with an overflowing imagination, King Carnestoltes and his companions go up to a balcony in the Plaza Mayor to say, always in a couplet, a Proclamation that leaves no one indifferent.

For once a year, almost everything is allowed: mockery, jokes and making fools of the town's most popular and well-known characters. We all meet in the Plaza Mayor, whether you're wearing a costume or not, to listen to the always-awaited Pregó, spicy and fun.

The party and the xerinola will continue at the pool venue until early morning, and since you will surely stay hungry, the City Council gives all the participants who participate in the street a good dinner to continue the party with more energy.
