One more year the Caramelles return to La Llacuna !

Holy Week arrives and with it the traditional cantada de caramelles, performed by the Choir La Cuitora and the Societat Coral Ben Endins com qui Ensorra l'Àpit.

The caramelles go out on the street performing popular songs with instruments such as the tambourine, the gralla, the flute and the drum. The lyrics of the songs are usually religious-themed, and are intended to recall the salient events of Holy Week, such as the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
