Art and Territory Course in Agramunt

If you're interested in contemporary art, culture, creativity, collective heritage, and the land, this is the summer course for you. Art and Territory has a practical and interdisciplinary approach that allows you to learn outside the classroom, through hands-on experience, exploring the land, and enjoying the process.

Art and Territory is an in-person course designed to stimulate creativity through artistic practice. It offers a shared learning space where participants can experience creative activities in a rural setting. The workshops are open to all adults interested in art and creation, with no prior knowledge, specific artistic skills, or university education required.

Going to and from the garden is the theme of this year's course, now in its twelfth edition. Literally, going to and from the garden is a short journey that connects two often very different worlds. It's an everyday gesture that keeps alive the connection with the earth, the seasons, self-sufficiency, the exchange of gardening techniques, seeds and recipes, the cycle of organic matter, and also moments of calm, pleasure, and satisfaction. Metaphorically, this coming and going opens the door to other reflections, which will be explored through artistic projects in various disciplines and techniques, such as sgraffito, printing, painting, illustration, and poetry interpretation.

Art and Territory is a course organized by the Agramunt City Council within the framework of the UdL Summer University, with the collaboration of the Espai Guinovart Foundation, the Guillem Viladot-Lo Pardal Foundation and the Ondara School of Art.
