Aplec of Santa Margarita de Perafita

The meeting in the hermitage of Santa Margarida began with the restoration of the hermitage that was carried out during the years 1987-1988 on the initiative of a group of volunteers, residents of Perafita, headed by the priest of the James Carbonell period.

The meeting in Santa Margarida is celebrated on the third Sunday of July, a Sunday close to the day of the Saint, which is July 20.

The meeting is held around the hermitage of Santa Margarita de Vilaltella and many people from Perafita arrive on foot from the town.

The meeting begins with a breakfast of bread with tomato and sausages and mid-morning mass is celebrated outside, under the Santa Margarida oak.

At noon there is a popular meal, usually a rice dish, and in the afternoon there is music, in recent years organized within the Solc summer cycle, music and tradition in Lluçanès.
