Aplec de la Sardana in Caldes de Malavella

The Sardanista Group of Caldes de Malavella has counted more than 150 sardanas dedicated to the town. Songs that talk about the history of the town and its popular culture.

For this year's Aplec, dedicated to paying tribute to Caldes, only 28 have been selected, but the entity is committed to giving visibility to the entire repertoire linked to the town. The 75th Aplec de Sardanes will take place on May 11 and 12, and will feature the participation of social and cultural entities from the town and nearby municipalities.  

The groups La Principal de Llobregat and Mans Amigues have been invited on Saturday night. And the next day, the Sant Jordi song - City of Barcelona, City of Girona, Reus Jove and Bisbal Jove will participate. Apart from the sardanas, throughout the weekend there will be performances by the Gigantes de Caldes and Hereu Riera. The lace makers and students from the sardana workshops of the Sant Esteve and La Benaula schools will also be there.
