Anniversary of the Meravelles Caves of Benifallet

The Meravelles Caves are one of the most renowned tourist attractions in Terres de l'Ebre and one of the most unique geological elements in Catalonia!

Discovered in 1968, this year 2023, the Wonder Caves celebrate their 55th anniversary! A series of free acts have been prepared to commemorate this day. In the Plaza de les Coves, there will be a concert by the Cor de Cardó de Benifallet and you will be able to dance jotas with the Grupo de Jota de Benifallet.

During the day, the rhythm of the guided tours inside the caves will be the usual, with entries every hour, but at 1:00 p.m., the vermouth hour will start. A combination of vermouth will be offered with the classic potatoes and olives (thought for every two people) enlivening it with ambient music.

In the afternoon, the three shifts (4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.) of visits will continue to be offered.

We remind you that the visit to Benifallet can be rounded off with activities in the river, hiking or discovering other corners of the municipality. And all well complemented with the best cuisine of the Ebro, with gastronomic proposals of all kinds and Km0 products.
