Almenar September Fair

The Almenar September Fair is a survival of an old livestock fair, granted by Philip II. Despite being called a fair, the events are typical of a summer festival.

A lot of different proposals await you that will fill the town with music, light, color and excitement.

The festivities begin on Thursday night with a Correbares, organized by the Joves el Coc group. It is a nighttime bicycle route through different parts of the municipality, getting supplies in different bars and establishments. On Friday night there is a parade and the proclamation of the festivities is made followed by the correfocs.

On Saturday morning there is the proclamation of the heirs, heirs, heiresses and heirs. On Sunday morning the High Mass takes place and, at night, the Piromusical, a fireworks show enlivened with different music.

On Monday, the last day of the festival, in the afternoon the Festival in honor of the Elderly takes place and, at night, the end of the festival dance. During all the holidays there are dances, concerts, different sporting events and activities for the little ones.
