Alcanar - Morella Black Connection Festival

The Alcanar Auditorium Theatre will become the centre of a unique event that fuses crime literature and gastronomy. This initiative, in collaboration with the Morella Negra como la Trufa Festival, will offer talks by writers, presentations of novels and a special culinary proposal.

Literature and gastronomy with mystery

The festival will bring together renowned authors, local writers and leading figures in crime fiction, offering the public the opportunity to listen to them up close and interact with them. In addition, the event will feature high-level moderators, who will lead the round tables with an expert and enthusiastic eye.

The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. with “Esmorzem lectures”, where L'amagatall d'Evan (Lluís Ortega), Asesino por Causalidad (Fran Gómez) and La Terra del Silenci Trencat (Cristina Fornós) will be presented.

In the afternoon, at 5:00 p.m., the round table "Lletres a totes bandes" will bring together Margarita Artizeta, Xavier Aliaga and Pere Cervantes, moderated by Alberto Valle. At 6:15 p.m., Andreu Martín will talk with Mariola Nos about Diners per als morts, linking to the Spanish version that will be presented in Morella Negra.

Visitors will be able to purchase books at La Botiga de Alcanar and enjoy a tasting of black truffle and rice skewers from restaurants with a Black Connection menu.

In addition, Espacio Gastronómico Magda, Les Palmeres and La Marinada will offer menus inspired by the crime novel.
