The Broken Self!

The eighth edition of the VilaPensa thought festival completes the 2024 edition (dedicated to others) by focusing on the broken self. The scar will be discussed, using painting, film, and literature as a starting point. Virtual identity and the current political landscape will also be addressed, and romantic subjectivity will be represented through opera.

To this end, numerous and varied voices will participate, contributing different approaches to the self, such as Mercè Ibarz, Marta Nieto, Begoña Roman, Marta Nin, Pep Ferrer, Roger Ballescà, Pompeu Casanovas and Marta Poblet, among others.
