Great Medieval Festival of Besalú and Lake Banyoles

Departure from Barcelona towards Girona. Stop en route for breakfast (not included) and continuation of the trip to the beautiful medieval town of Besalú. During this weekend the population goes back a thousand years and the historic center becomes a unique set where fantasy and history transport the visitor to the old Condado de Besalú offering shows full of historical memories.

This event has become one of the most important events in the region. The value of the architectural and historical complex of the Vila makes it one of the most important and unique examples of medieval complexes in Catalonia. The streets are filled with characters that make visitors enjoy their stories and performances: troubadours, wrestlers, musicians, jugglers, court figures, artisans, etc. and where we can tour its medieval market. We will have free time to enjoy this unforgettable party. At lunch time we will go to a renowned restaurant next to Lake Banyoles for breakfast.

Free time to walk along Lake Banyoles and at the agreed time we will return to Barcelona.
