2 days on the Canal du Midi, Béziers and Cadaqués: Nature, Art and Culture

This March 29th and 30th, experience the Canal du Midi, Béziers and Cadaqués!

DAY 1 - PLACE OF ORIGIN - CANAL DU MIDI CRUISE - BEZIERS - EMPURIABRAVA.

Departure by motorway towards Girona, stop en route for breakfast (not included) and continue towards France to reach Béziers from where we will begin a fantastic Cruise along the Canal du Midi with Lunch on board and which for 4 hours will show us all its beauty. Created in the 17th century, this unique 241 km long canal crosses the whole of southern France, has more than 60,000 trees planted on its banks and is considered the longest navigable canal in operation in Europe. Without a doubt an unforgettable experience.

After the cruise we will go to Béziers where we will have free time in this beautiful city with more than 2,700 years of history and highlights the Cathedral of Saint Nazaire located at the top of the city and a notable example of 14th century Gothic with vaults up to more than 30 meters high and the old bridge over the river Orto. Next we will go to the hotel in Empuriabrava. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 2 - EMPURIABRAVA - CADAQUÉS - PLACE OF ORIGIN.

Breakfast and departure to the charming town of Cadaqués, one of the most picturesque corners of the Costa Brava, which was a place of inspiration for the famous painter Salvador Dalí, who found in its beauty a unique creative refuge. We will have free time and you can enjoy a pleasant walk through its labyrinth of white streets, surrounded by the characteristic houses with whitewashed facades and the relaxed atmosphere of the town.

The promenade, with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea, will allow you to immerse yourself in the tranquility of this enclave that, over the years, has attracted numerous artists and travelers. It is a unique experience that combines art, history and natural beauty in every corner. After this fascinating tour, we will return to the hotel for lunch and, at the agreed time, we will return to our place of origin.
