2 days at the Great Habanera Singing in Calella de Palafrugell

This July 5th and 6th, come to the Great Habanera Singing in Calella de Palafrugell!

DAY 1 - PLACE OF ORIGIN - CRUISE THROUGH CATALAN VENICE - HABANERAS OF PALAFRUGELL - EMPURIABRAVA

Departure from Barcelona to the Costa Brava. We'll stop en route for breakfast (not included) and continue our journey to Empuriabrava, where we'll take a pleasant cruise along the canals of one of the largest navigable residential marinas in the world. Lunch will be served at the hotel. Free afternoon to enjoy the surroundings and the beach of Empuriabrava.

After an early dinner, we will travel to Calella de Palafrugell to attend the Great Habanera Singing of Calella de Palafrugell (numbered ticket included). This grand spectacle is an important Catalan tradition that takes place on the beach and is broadcast on TV every year. The habanera sings to the emotions, conveys the nostalgia of sailors, evoking Cuba, its people, and its rum. After the performance by the Cantada groups, the most anticipated moment is the emotional moment when everyone takes the stage to sing two very popular habaneras: "La Bella Lola" and "Mi abuelo," which close the celebration. Return to the hotel and accommodation.

DAY 2 - EMPURIABRAVA - CRUISE IN CADAQUÉS - PLACE OF ORIGIN

Breakfast. Departure for Roses, where we'll board a pleasant cruise along the coast to Cadaqués. We'll enjoy spectacular cliffs that make us feel small. We'll pass by Punta Falconera and Cala Montjo. During the trip, we'll hear about the peculiarities and interesting facts about the coves and beaches over the PA system. We'll pass by Cape Norfeu, so admired by Josep Pla, where you can distinguish the different colors and cuts in the rocks created thousands of years ago.

We arrive at our destination, Cadaqués, docking directly at the beach, right in the old town of this picturesque fishing village. The beautiful town of Cadaqués was the inspiration for the famous painter Salvador Dalí. There, we can enjoy a pleasant 1.5-hour walk through the old town, surrounded by whitewashed houses and its promenade. At the scheduled time, we will board again for the return trip to Roses. Transfer to the hotel and lunch. At the scheduled time, we will return to our destination.
