On March 22 and 23, experience Carcassonne and Collioure, history and medieval charm!
DAY 1 - PLACE OF ORIGIN - CARCASSONNE - EMPURIABRAVA.
Morning departure to the fascinating Carcassonne, one of the most impressive medieval towns in France. With its 52 towers and more than 3 km of walls, this historic gem has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. During our visit, we will walk through its cobbled streets, which seem taken from a medieval tale, and we will enjoy free time to explore at our own pace. Lunch in a restaurant with the traditional and delicious Cassoulet, a typical dish of the region. In the afternoon, we will continue discovering the charms of the Cité before transferring to the hotel in Empuriabrava for dinner and accommodation.
DAY 2 - EMPURIABRAVA - COLLIOURE - PLACE OF ORIGIN.
Breakfast and departure to Collioure, a picturesque town on the French coast, famous for its medieval castle and its lighthouse church on the beach. This place, with its bohemian and medieval atmosphere, has been a source of inspiration for artists such as Matisse and Picasso, as well as being the residence in exile of the poet Antonio Machado. We will enjoy free time to walk through its charming cobbled streets and explore the most beautiful corners of this place full of history. Return to the hotel for lunch and, at the agreed time, we will return to our place of origin, bringing with us indelible memories of this unique getaway.
