2 days at La Plantà during the Fallas festival in Valencia and Benicarló
On March 15 and 16, experience the Fallas Festival in Valencia and Benicarló!
DAY 1 - PLACE OF ORIGIN - PEÑÍSCOLA - FALLAS OF BENICARLÓ.
Departure to Castellón with a stop en route for breakfast ( not included ). Continuation of the trip to Peñíscola, where we will enter the old town to visit the Castle of Pope Luna ( entrance included ). This castle, built by the Templars in the 13th century, became a papal palace and library thanks to Pope Luna, who resided there. Free time to enjoy the surroundings. Transfer to the hotel located in Peñíscola. Lunch at the hotel.
In the afternoon, we will travel to Benicarló, where we will take a walking tour to admire the Fallas, magnificent works of art planted in the streets and squares of the town. These Fallas follow the tradition of other towns in Castelló and are burned on these dates. Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 2 - VALENCIA - THE FALLAS PLANTANO - PLACE OF ORIGIN.
Breakfast and departure to Valencia. Once we arrive in the city, we will take an orientation tour on foot through the streets and squares to admire the Plantà de les Falles. We will have free time to contemplate the children's fallas and the great fallas, impressive works created by the Fallero Master Craftsmen throughout the year. This tradition stands out for its grandeur, colour and originality.
At 2pm we will have the opportunity to experience the Gran Mascletà, one of the most impressive events of the Fallas, known for its thunderous noise and the unique atmosphere it creates. To enjoy the visit more freely, lunch is not included.
In the afternoon, at the agreed time, we will begin the return trip to our place of origin.
