Lluçanès on horseback
Lluçanès is an ideal territory for lovers of equestrian tourism. It has 2 equestrian, self-guided, circular routes (starting and ending in Prats de Lluçanès, without difficulty that can be traveled all year round. Routes that penetrate the rural landscape, traveling through forests, streams and making stops in pretty villages.
Playing sports and enjoying the heritage, history and landscape of Lluçanès is a luxury!
The 2 equestrian routes are approved by the Catalan Horse Riding Federation and are:
RE-01 Medieval roads:
The route runs through old transhumance paths, Romanesque monasteries and medieval castles; it crosses ridges with fantastic views, valleys and cool streams passing through a mosaic of forests, fields and farmhouses, framed by a natural and serene landscape.
RE-02 - Land of witches and bandits:
The route goes through historical places of witch persecutions, in the middle of the forests of the bandit Perot Rocaguinarda, through beautiful villages, traces the traces of the Romans in the territory and allows you to discover corners full of cultural heritage.
The tours are made up of:
- Reception point. A free service with perimeter closure of the enclosure, area for trailers, closed area for horses, drinking fountain, shower and light service.
