Gaudí for a day at the Bellesguard Tower
This year at the Bellesguard Tower we have combined Christmas and Gaudí with a unique activity: our Christmas trencadís workshop. Discover one of Gaudí's most fascinating techniques by creating a Christmas piece to show off at home this holiday season.
On Sunday 22nd December we are offering a unique cultural and recreational experience for the whole family. A brittle workshop by Mosaiccos and an audio-guided visit to the Bellesguard Tower. A morning full of history, art and fun.
You can choose from a variety of Christmas shapes. You have four options for hanging on the tree: a ball, a star, a tree or a heart. You also have the option of making a Christmas tree with a stand above the table.
Once you have chosen the object, you will have to choose the colours and start making the brittle. With glasses and pliers, you will cut the ceramic to the size you need, and you will stick it on the object.
When finished, he will leave his piece with the Mosaiccos team for the application of the mortar, and you will begin the visit to Bellesguard.
As you finish, you will be given an audio guide so that you can follow the outside route at your leisure, and once inside the house, a person from Bellesguard will guide you through the interior spaces. The visit ends at the top of the terraces, from where you will have the best views of Barcelona, and the entire city at your feet.
Above all, don't forget to pick up his Christmas artwork when you leave to decorate your home this holiday season. A reminder of a unique experience, in a Gaudí-esque setting and with all the magic of Christmas.
We are waiting for you!
