Picasso, the great success of the 20th century, a bohemian, successful and fascinating painter, is constantly being paid homage to after his death. But at his birthday party, an unexpected visitor arrives: the clown troupe Rhum & Co. And with them, a poet and circus reporter, an old friend of Picasso, Ramón Gómez de la Serna. Ramón likes mysteries. What is Picasso hiding behind the harlequin mask?

Ramón and company invoke a labyrinth of friends, women and legends that made Picasso a myth. A wonderful tableau where the emperor of artists strips and disguises himself at the same time. 'Picasso' questions the story of a painter who went through different eras and styles, but does so in the key of Rhum & Cia: a staging as careful as it is fun, with some melancholic touches.
