Esbart from Andorra la Vella and Aixopluc in the Kursaal of Manresa
Dance - Music / Sunday, September 15 / Kursaal - Sala Gran.
The root ball or root ball is an earthy mass that is the sum of the soil and the roots, a manifestation of a plant's will to cling to the earth that makes it its cradle and gives it origin.
It is with this very graphic concept that the folk duo Aixopluc, formed by Bagenc musicians Joel Díaz (piano and accordion) and Queralt Valls (violin), together with the Esbart Dansaire from Andorra la Vella, presents the show 'Pa d'arrels in dance'.
A joint creative task in which the Esbart Dansaire from Andorra la Vella has put movement to the duet's compositions, initially conceived by the square dance styles. A show that also incorporates poetry, in a bid to unite the three disciplines (music - dance - poetry) and review esbart as a traditional dance body.
PLAIN DANCE, CORRANDAS, FANDANGOS, MASURCAS DANCED LIVE WITH THE EIXOPLUC DUET.
