Our restaurant

Our restaurant has an experienced kitchen service directed by Joan Brunet Dalfó with 45 years of experience in restaurant management, who offers a wide range of delicious and simple dishes, based on the traditional cuisine of the Baix Empordà, with recipes that have been in the bosom of the family and that have been updated to be able to offer their clients one of the best "suquets" on the coast.

One of the secrets of its cuisine is to prioritize quality over other concepts and always use local products, with special attention to shellfish and fish from the area.

We cannot forget the rice dishes that have given us so much success, since the “ Paella Can Dalfó ” is one of the best-selling dishes, being the star both in the dining room and if you decide to take it home.

During the year, we participated in the annual gastronomic days organized in l'Estartit "Tastes de Mar: La Clova" and "La manzana en la cocina" being the only restaurant that has twice won the "El mejillón de oro" contest awarded through popular vote by the attending diners.

We can also offer special menus, adapted to all types of groups, be they companies, family parties or any event they wish to celebrate in our premises.

A special menu designed so that they can enjoy some of the typical dishes of the area is available to customers who are staying at the hostel.

The Can Dalfo hostel

Family hostel, located in the center of Estartit at 50 meters. from the beach, it has 12 rooms with air conditioning and different types. With views of the sea or Sta. Anna street, interiors, some doubles and others family rooms.

Its privileged location in the center of the commercial and pedestrian area of the town, allows you to walk to both the beach and the marina, from where you can access the pier to enjoy one of the most valued experiences for our clients, the maritime excursions to the Medes Islands and the adjacent coast, a protected natural area within the “Montgrí Natural Park, Medas Islands and Baix Ter ”, one of the most impressive landscapes in the Mediterranean, where a great variety of both marine and terrestrial habitats coexist, waiting to be discovered.

We can offer very competitive prices for small groups who want to enjoy one of the most demanded activities in l'Estartit, scuba diving in the Medes Islands to enjoy its depths. Whether it is your first dive or if you are a professional, the paradise that hides under its waters, the posidonia beds, corals, groupers or lobsters living together in their own habitat, leaves no one indifferent.

Pets are accepted on request.

Our facilities will be closed from the second week of December until the last week of January.
