Refugi de l'Arp La Vansa i Fórnols

El Refugio del Arp (1937 m altitude) is a mountain refuge located within the Nordic ski resort of Tuixent - La Vansa, in the Alt Urgell region. Located on the northern slope of the Sierra de Port del Comte, its location provides spectacular views of the Pyrenees.

The refuge is open all year round (consult closure for holidays) and offers a bar and restaurant service to everyone.

The Refuge has 24 beds spread over 5 rooms equipped with bunk beds (2 + 4 + 4 + 6 + 8). On the ground floor there is the hall, the dining room with fireplace and pellet heating, the bar / cafeteria service and 2 service bathrooms. At the top are the bedrooms, a pellet stove and two bathrooms with hot showers.

To access the refuge you must take the forest track that leaves from the station's parking lot and is 400 m away. We have parking for our clients next to the refuge. During the snow season the forest trail is closed, so you must access it on foot, with skis, snowshoes or sledding. If you have reduced mobility, we will help you get there.

For this same reason, during the winter we must use sleds or snowmobiles to carry food and other supplies to the refuge. We ask you to make rational use of them.

The shelter is guarded, so you will have a person at your disposal at all times.

At the refuge you can hire various activities in the natural environment and also those offered by Cau de Llops.
