Via Ferradura Roca de la Cruz

The Roca de la Cruz via ferrata is located in the town of Ribes de Freser (Ripollès), in the Eastern Pyrenees. A town located in an exceptional area, surrounded by mountains such as Núria and the Ribes valley, with emblematic peaks such as Taga.

The Via Ferrada de la Roca de la Cruz has a very short approach of about 15 minutes and a return of 30 minutes. Its low difficulty, combined with the short approach and return, makes it perfect for getting started.

During the tour, we will have incredible panoramic views of the town of Ribes de Freser, we will hear the Freser River coming down from the mountains, and the Taga will accompany us at all times. It is a low-medium level via ferrata, ideal for taking children or for anyone who wants to get started in the world of via ferrata and learn to progress safely.

On this via ferrata, we will have to overcome vertical sections with the help of staples, gaining height little by little, and also cross three bridges, one of them very long, in addition to horizontal sections.
