Roman Tarraco with Port Plaza Apartments
Tarraco was the capital of Hispania Citerior or Tarraconensis during the Roman Empire. Thanks to approximately 600 years of Roman supremacy, we still find an impressive legacy in the city center today, which we encourage you to visit: the wall (within which the old town is located), the amphitheater, the theater, the forum, the circus, and the Early Christian cemetery, to name a few.
It is not surprising that, thanks to this Roman heritage, on November 30, 2000, the Roman archaeological complex of Tarragona was declared a World Heritage Site.
