Exhibition "Competing at sea" at the Barcelona Maritime Museum

The exhibition tells the history of regattas in Catalonia, from its birth in beach clubs to its consolidation through a large number of elite athletes who participate in major national and international regattas. The outstanding names in Olympic regattas, ocean sailing, solo regattas at the highest level, the mini class... who have become references for both their generation and subsequent ones are reviewed.

Catalonia is a very suitable place for sailing, as demonstrated by the number of regattas that are held, both local and international. Hence there are almost 34,000 federated athletes, more than 27,000 are schoolchildren.
