Guided visits to the Baells Dam Interpretation Center
On Tuesdays, August 6, 13, 20 and 27 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. you can go inside the Baells Dam, one of the most important hydraulic infrastructures in the country.
We will learn about the importance that swamps have in the regulation and management of the water cycle in Catalonia and the history that is hidden beneath the water.
The guided tour tours the crown, the cloister and a visiting gallery to discover the work of the engineers during the routine inspections they carry out inside. Through a practical test, and working in family teams, visitors will also be able to put themselves in the shoes of the engineers, solving the different questions and problems that arise to open the dam's gates.
