Dramatized visit "The events of Fígols in 1932"
On the occasion of Industrial Tourism Week 2024 (STI 2024), the Cercs Mines Museum is offering a free dramatised tour by the Tràfec-Teatre company.
Today, the events of Fígols in 1932 still resonate as an intense memory in the history of mining in Bergueda. A revolt that established libertarian communism in Fígols and that would reach different towns in the Alt Llobregat and Cardener basins, but that the government of the republic would repress quickly and forcefully.
The visit follows the steps of the insurrection: the squares and streets will become a great stage to understand how those seven days were lived in the colony. The spaces will bring the characters and their stories to life, transporting the visitor to a time when bread for their children was earned with effort, sweat, and sometimes, death.
