Cardedeu celebrates the end of summer with a weekend full of activities!

This year, Plaça de Sant Joan will become the heart of an event that will transport us to the splendorous era of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Join us on a trip to Cardedeu in 1900, with activities, workshops, theatre performances and more. and much more!

FRIDAY OCTOBER 4TH

Women in modernism: from the femme fatale to the angel of the home
Lecture at 7pm at the Museum
Núria Gil Farré, PhD in Art History, will give us a talk on the representation of women in modernism, addressing both artistic ideals and the realities of women at the beginning of the 20th century. Free activity.

SATURDAY OCTOBER 5TH

We live the square!
Family activities and workshops
Throughout the morning, Plaça de Sant Joan will be filled with activities for the whole family organised by the Xarxa Comerç Cardedeu.

Dance and party scenes
At 12:30 pm in the Plaza de Sant Joan
Enjoy a morning of chotis, Viennese waltzes and pasodobles with Petita Àgata, reliving the holiday parties of Cardedeu 100 years ago. Collaboration with Cardanses and Artescena Social.

Circus and show workshop with CircVermut
At 6 p.m. in the Plaza de Sant Joan
The Vermuts will make us laugh with impossible balances and funny situations. Free activity.

Theatrical tasting of Gente Bien by Santiago Rusiñol, organized by Artescena.

Xarxa Comerç game awards ceremony

With Artescena, followed by a chocolate offered by the Xarxa Comerç Cardedeu.

Summer scenes. Theatricalized Raspall route
Departure at 10.30 am from the Museum
Discover the phenomenon of summer vacations and the modernist architecture of Manel Joaquim Raspall on a dramatized tour of Cardedeu. Price: €7 general / €5 reduced. Advance reservation is required.
