The Lighthouse: History and Panoramic Tour on 8Treks

Discover the guided route to the summit of El Far with 8Treks!

A unique experience for all nature and hiking lovers. Located in the municipality of Susqueda, in the La Selva region, this hike will take you to the top of El Faro, at 1,125 meters above sea level, where you'll find the sanctuary of the same name and enjoy spectacular views of the cliff that separates the Guilleries from Collsacabra.

• Duration: 4 hours approx. (from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.).

Recommended material

• Clothing: Hiking shoes, 3-layer technical clothing (raincoat, fleece, and technical t-shirt), gloves, 20-30L backpack, and waterproof backpack cover.
• Sun protection: Sunglasses, sunscreen, lip protection, and a hat.
• Safety equipment: First aid kit (with possible bottles, personal medications, etc.), headlamp with spare batteries, and mobile phone with charger.
• Food (not included): It is recommended to bring 1.5L of water, a sandwich, fruit, nuts, energy bars, chocolate, etc.
• Others: Telescopic trekking poles and not carrying more than 10% of your body weight in your backpack.

Additional information

• Minimum number of participants required for the route: 4. If the group cannot be formed, the full amount will be refunded.
• All payments are non-refundable, unless the activity is cancelled by the 8treks organization due to insufficient group size.
