Hello!

I'm Gemma, Girona tourist guide. Born in the Pyrenees, in La Pobla de Lillet.

I came to Girona to be able to study at the University and do you know what happened to me? I fell in love with the city!

I also graduated in Tourism from the UdG.

After traveling to different countries and living in the United Kingdom, Belgium and Germany, I settled in Girona, where I have lived for more than 20 years.

I have worked in hotels, campsites, travel agencies, tourist offices, public administration, etc.

First he worked as an accompanying guide, discovering countries like Germany, Switzerland and France for tourists. Then I passed the exam to be the Official Tourist Guide of Catalonia. And I decided to be a local guide!

As a curiosity, as a child I wanted to be a teacher, as a young actress. And now I am a tourist guide: a profession that combines both activities.

The truth is that guiding it was my passion and now it is my profession. I love guiding!

What do I offer?

Despite being able to visit all of Catalonia, I have specialized in the Girona regions.

In Girona I offer a range of thematic visits: Jewish, Medieval, Tastings, Legends, Sensations, Sweets, Family Gymkhana.

And in Girona regions I visit the 3 Dalí Museums, the Costa Brava with coastal paths and the beautiful medieval towns such as Pals, Peratallada, Monells, Besalú, Santa Pau, etc.

I offer tours for private individuals. They are personalized guided tours, fully adapted to what each client needs.

In addition to the guided tour, we can enjoy an experience of the territory such as a DO Empordà wine tasting, a sailboat ride or a meal with local cuisine.
