Espai Lluís Companys Tornabous
Space
The Espai Lluís Companys is a place of historical memory, a collective heritage space to prevent historical tragedies from happening again, connected to the present and to its surroundings. A living space, of knowledge and debate.
The permanent exhibition, with a thematic and free route, traces the life of Lluís Companys, from his origins in Tarròs, to his execution, thus discovering his thought, as an ideologue and politician.
The exhibition includes: reproductions of photographs, posters, speeches and addresses (which, in many cases, can only be found in the archives) and interactive museography. A room with dim lighting and ambient sound immerses the visitor in an experience where time is suspended.
On a regular basis, complementary activities are scheduled to expand the historical and cultural context of the exhibition.
The Space is completely accessible by wheelchair and has adapted services.
Access with guide dogs is allowed.
