Four young musical lovers learn that a theatre wants to get rid of the sets and materials from the musicals they have performed over the years.

The four friends meet at the theatre, where they discover sets, props, costumes... As they find objects and costumes, they sing songs that they love and tell anecdotes and stories about the musicals they are in. All of this takes them on a journey through the contemporary history of the American musical.
